My mystery novel, “In Plain View,” helped launch the Carina Press imprint. Thousands of copies have been sold all over the world.
Our family has dined well on the royalties. At least twice.
My noir screenplay, "Garbageman," about a genius sanitation engineer with a naked ghost problem, was optioned by Warner Brothers.

I've also paid the bills creating web/blog/social media, as well as feature-writing for industry and non-profit organizations. Including The Northern Illinois Food Bank, DuPage County Historical Museum, Pioneer Press, Wheaton Park District, and SCARCE, an eco-education non-profit.

My work has been recognized by a variety of writing professionals.
PRC Tell Your Story, a blog for adult learners and their tutors was nationally recognized by adult education industry professionals, ProLiteracy and CoABE. Tell Your Story gave voices to immigrants, refugees and people experiencing homelessness.
The DuPage County History Museum Folk Art Catalog. Wrote, edited and supervised production of local museum catalog. Received multi-awards from Great Design, USA.
Other awards include: finalist, St. Martin's Malice Domestic and Emily Award, Historical novel; Gold medal, Public Relations Writing, IAPD.
